This forum has been a tremendous help during this whole process, I am very new here so please pardon me and all critics welcome

My Fiancee K1 Visa interview is scheduled in August, @ the Nigerian embassy

it would be hassle free to attend interview but just want to know - which is better, if she goes alone

and slug it out or if I go with her. I hope I would not introduce complications as I have seen in other posts

Would I (petitioner) be allowed to go in with her to the interview window?

Would the questions be targeted to both of us or only beneficiary since we are together?

Is there a possibility we might get seperated in different rooms and cross questioned?

I would welcome all suggestions, just want to know which is better, to allow her go to the embassy alone

or to accompany her.

I have no idea about Nigerian embassy, but I asked my embassy, well, the one where my fiance will go, if I could attend.

They said yes, but the Officer may at some point, ask me to leave if he deems necessary when asking questions.

Good Luck

That depends on the embassy and the interviewer, really. Some countries forbid the US Citizen from attending the interview. For some it makes no difference either way, and for some it shows extra assurance that the relationship is real. I don't see how it could be detrimental if you attended.

Do whatever would make your fiancee most comfortable.
