Hello, I received an email from the NVC this morning that my I-129F petition was being sent to the embassy in Bogota. I understand the embassy will send all the information necessary for the interview.

-Is the information sent to her by regular mail, email, or both?

-Will I get an email of the same information they send her?

Thank you!

Im in the same boat, from what I have heard they email this packet of instructions to the benificiary only. Ceac status has been at ready for interview since october 3rd but no word from bogota as of yet. I have tried calling them directly several times and all they tell me is to keep waiting for their email with instructions. I am contemplating emailing the ivbogota email to see if I can get any thing done that way.

I don't think her email address was given anywhere so I'm not sure how it would be emailed to her. Hopefully they copy me at my email.

Hello,

How did the interview go in Bogota?

We got the dreaded 221g form after the interview because she didn't have the police records from the time she lived in Mexico. Fortunately we were able to get them quickly and she got approved.

Great, that's good to hear. Have you received the notification to receive the visa? We were approved on 2/27, and we still have not received the email they said would be the next step. We are having the visas delivered to a different location.
