Guys, this morning we received a status update email from USCIS stating "

We have taken an action on your case

Sign in to your account to view your case status

But I am not seeing any updates on their website. I know some of you have experienced similar thing in the past. Question is, how long did it take for you to receive an actual update on their website?
Yes, I am an October 2023 filer for I-130 for parents of a USCIS.(It's the same thing as the spouse since they are all considered immediate family.)

This is normal, these glitches occur sometimes causing "ghost updates". You may get a real update in few days, or may not. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just keep an eye on status and further communication.

Got an email from visajourney saying that my i-130 approval estimate is "Any day now!". Im really hoping that this is when approvals will come along

That's good news! Fingers crossed 🤞Will you have long to wait for an appointment at Manilla Embassy once you are DQ? It's such a long process 😪 I am still estimated 3 weeks til approval....

I'm not sure how long the wait is for an interview but if history is any guide, probably around Dec 2025 or jan 2026. Our 2 year anniversary will be in Aug 2025 so that means that her interview will be for IR1 (for interviews after Aug 2025). Hopefully, we (filers) will all have good news in the coming weeks or so.

It's taking more than 15 months as after that much time has now elapsed since my application my estimate is now saying another 6 months. I realize approvals may come within next 1-2 months. But that means it is like taking 16-17 months just for I- 130 approval. So total process to complete an immediate relative case is well excess of 2 years and even over 3 years if dealing with certain backlogged embassies/consulates.

Yeah I am nearly 15 months and wouldn't be surprised to wait 16 plus...I am hoping London Embassy won't be a horrendous wait too after all this time 🙏

The estimate is a joke. Yes, cases roughly take 15 months, but it may take few months less or more.

Your overall timeline projection is spot on.

It's so messed up that you spend your money for a service and tortured to wait on the outcome. It's heart wrenching being away from our loved ones.

I feel sorry for the persons who just started the process because it's so arduous. Praying you all don't have to wait much longer.

My PD is Nov 6 2023.

All true. Good luck to you and to us all! I'm 15 months and can't believe it's taking so long, when I applied I stupidly thought it might only be a year 😂

I too stupidly thought it would take 1 year. According to USCIS processing times on their websites all I130 cases should be handled in 16 months up from 14 months.

Just got an email from visajourney regarding my approval estimate and saying the exact message "Any day now!" again. My i-130 is a stand-alone with my foreign wife residing overseas.
