On myUSCIS website there’s a tab for myProgress

Once again, Thank you! Looks like in my case I can only see 3 tabs: Case Status, Case History, and Documents. Maybe after someone is assigned the he case and they open it, I may be able to see myProgress tab. BTW, I'm using Android phone and Chrome as a browser. It could be OS/Browser related.

Just curious, did anyone here got their i130 approved ? Should have as the posts are of 2023 - appreciate if you can share timeline

also, I have applied mom and dads from outside USA and moms went to TX and dads to vermont service center. The myprogress tab shows 21 months until case decision.

also, i only uploaded the documents they asked for mom it was my birth certificate and naturalization cert and for dad it was birth certificate, their marriage certificate and naturalization cert.

i did not upload any passport copies of mom dad as it was not asked nor did i upload their birth certificates. Hope this will not end up giving me an RFE. Pls advice to all who have filled and got their i130 approved

thanks

For people who submitted i130 for parents and i130 got approved without any RFE, want to check if you uploaded birth certificate of your mom dad too while submitting the application? Asking because it doesnt ask their birth certificate in i130 so I have not uploaded it but was wondering if that is needed upfront. Just dont want any RFEs so please do let me know if anyone has got it approved

Starting a thread for October I-130 for parent. I filed for my mum online, she is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Filing date: 6th October 2023

Notice Date: 6th October 2023

Processing Office - Vermont Service Center.

My mother's I-130 got approved today 02.05.2025; I got the alert and notifications on my USCIS account. My mother is currently visiting in the US but I will be sending her back to Nigeria and file form DS-260 for her. She has a visiting VISA and can come and go into the US pending when she gets her green card.

Hey all, we just got a RFE notification from USCIS. Case status changed to “Request for Initial Evidence was sent” but I don’t see anything in the documents tab yet. Might be something that’s coming in the mail or will update later online. I did not upload birth certificates for either parent bc they were born prior to 1970s. I will share more when I have more info but any update from USCIS is a good update so kinda excited!
