Obviously Iran is heavily involved and they are providing a lot of the logistics and support. They are effectively immune too far away, too big.

The only logical option I can think of is to clear Gaza, bulldoze everything, but I cannot see that happening.

 

 

Give it time. Also they could be under a hospital (that's usually where they hide) so they wouldn't be able to get to them till special forces go in during the ground operation. The US ended up finding saddam and bin laden, this is the same situation...doesn't matter how impossible it might seem right now, there should be resolve to not leave gaza before they're found and eliminated.

People equating terrorist attack victims to civilian victims of the bombing of Gaza ("it's all murder") and don't misunderstand me, all CIVILIAN death is horrible but INTENT matters....

 

People saying "cease fire & negotiations should happen" and I ask them if the US should have negotiated with Al-Qaeda after 9/11 and they tell me Hamas isn't Al-Qaeda? Like, what???

Yeah, to me if a person is "neutral" they're not really neutral, they're pro hamas. There's no place for neutrality here. Anyone who is against terrorism should be supporting Israel unequivocally in the removal of this threat before it truly becomes existential.

A few days ago a BBC reporter who had been in Gaza and some of the tunnels mentioned a command post under the main Hospital. I can not imagine he was told that unless they wanted it out there. He also mentioned the tunnels into Egypt, described one as big enough to drive a Mercedes through. These do not operate without Egypt looking the other way.

 

Bin Laden was hiding in a house in Pakistan, somewhat different.

 

And my favourite Guardian columnist has of course up with the obvious. Hamas are just enforcing British Mandate Law.

Yes, indeed on both fronts. The other concern and the main one here, obviously, is enemy infiltration but with the extra army presence I do feel very safe.
