Hezbollah fleeing Israeli ground assault without putting up a fight

 

Hezbollah militants are fleeing southern Lebanon, offering limited resistance to the Israeli ground invasion.

Fighters are said to have "left the area" without demonstrating "meaningful defensive operations", according to the Institute of the Study of War (ISW), a major conflict think tank.

Sources in Israel told The Telegraph that months of pre-invasion raids into Lebanon had helped push some of the group northwards, while the bombing campaign and pager attacks were also forcing some to flee.

But the ISW said it was surprised by evidence from the early stages of the invasion showing an unwillingness to confront and fight Israeli troops.

Iron Dome Jew vs. Beeper Jew

In a searing short video, Tom Trento of the United West highlights the bloodthirsty, perverted, and bestial actions of Hamas which led to the October 7, 2023 Holocaust in Israel.  In the video, Rabbi Aryeh Lightstone speaks of "the Iron Dome Jew who spends a lot of time trying to figure out how not to get hit versus the Beeper Jew who figures out how nobody can hit [him or her] ever again."

 

Clearly during the massacre of October 7th, the Iron Dome approach failed.  It has become increasingly clear that the only way to stop Hamas is to totally and irrevocably destroy it.  Israel is doing the world's job by cutting off the head of the snake.  The words of Prime Minister Menachem Begin to Senator Joe Biden in 1982 reveal the need for utter devotion to this goal.  [...]

According to a breaking news line by Reuters, an Israeli military spokesperson said that there is a possibility that Hamas leader, Yahya Sinwar, has been “eliminated”. Reuters adds that the Israeli military are checking this.

For a year the IDF hunted Sinwar in tunnels – then troops ran into him by chance

 

After a year hunting its most wanted target in Hamas's tunnels beneath Gaza, it appears Israel claimed its quarry during a chance encounter in the ruined streets of the coastal strip.

When Israeli troops saw Hamas fighters enter a building in Rafah, they had no reason to suspect one of them was their country's most wanted man.

For months, a specialist elite taskforce had been seeking the terrorist leader behind the Oct 7 attacks and he was widely thought to be hidden deep beneath the ground.

 

The troops called for a tank to fire into the building, causing much of it to collapse, Israel's Channel 12 reported.

It was only when afterwards soldiers found three bodies in the rubble, that they were struck by how familiar one dead man seemed.

The dead middle-aged man, wearing a military-style vest and lying half submerged beneath debris with the front of his head smashed in, had a familiar looking mole next to his left eye, troops noticed.

Troops entering the building decided he looked "very much like" Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas leader considered the architect of last year's Oct 7 attack against Israel.

 

Prising open his lips with a piece of wood, troops also believed that his worn and chipped teeth matched photos of the Hamas leader's mouth.  [...]

Yahya Sinwar's killing has left Hamas in disarray

 

Almost exactly a year after Hamas's horrific attack on Israel, its leader Yahya Sinwar has been killed.  This is not the end of Hamas, but it does offer Israel an opportunity to destabilise and fragment the group, similar to what Israel has done to Hezbollah — to cut the Islamists down to a more manageable size and bring the war to a conclusion on terms reasonably close to victory.

Washington Post Gives Entire Staff Day Off To Mourn Loss Of Hamas Leader

 

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Teary-eyed sources at the Washington Post have just confirmed that the paper's entire staff has just been given the day off to mourn the loss of the Hamas leader who masterminded the Oct. 7 attacks in 2023.

According to mid-level WaPo editors who spoke under condition of anonymity, all of the staffers, writers, and editors had managed to drag themselves into work but were simply too dispirited to do anything more than a few half-hearted tweets critical of Trump and JD Vance.
