Trouble logging into CEAC

Hi

I received welcome letter from NVC 4 days ago and tried logging into the account but fails every time.

"the selected case number and invoice identification number combination you entered does not match our records." shows up every time I try to enter.

Has anyone have had similar issue and if so, how did you get it solved?

You got the "Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation" email too, right?

@Chancy yes I received the notice of immigrant visa case creation by email.

My wife and I are also having trouble logging in. My wife received her "Notice of Immigrant Visa Case Creation" on October 2nd, 2023. We are well past the 72 hours. I've tried calling the NVC however the number has been closed down. I sent an email requesting help however that may take several months for them to reply.

 

Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it?

I had different issues while updating and they had to turn something on for joint sponsor. and they are much quicker with emails these days, within 2-3 days.

If you did the public enquiry form then it shouldn't take several months, you can see the date they're responding to enquiries from on the timeline page and it's currently only a few days - https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/nvc-timeframes.html

hello the same problem is happening to me has anyone been able to log in yet? i got my case email on the second and i still havent been able to log in

hey did logging in work for you? i received my notice the same day you did and i still havent been able to log in!

Update: I received a response from the NVC inquiry team yesterday BUT IT DIDN’T ADDRESS THE ISSUE; so frustrating!

(Here is the email they sent. I redacted  the names and numbers.)

To Whom it Concerns:

 

The invoice I.D. number for visa petition XXXXXXXXXXXX is: XXXXXXXXXXXXX

 

The beneficiary I.D. number for (my wife) is xxxxxxxxxxxxx.

i received the same exact email! and i emailed them more than once too and i didnt get any help. they also said to try again another time and to try Microsoft edge but it didnt work either

Hi there. I received my NVC welcome letter on October 10th. I'm also unable to log in because my credentials "don't match their records". Just wondering how it's going for others in the same situation? I've tried with various browsers, I've emailed NVC several times (no response yet), and now I've requested help from my local congress person. Sending strength to all those affected. 🥴
