My fiancée passed her interview! When can I buy her airline ticket? Do I need to wait for her to receive the passport in the mail? She was told it would take 10 days to be delivered. My fiancée wants to fly on Nov 30th.

Wait. That the CO said "approved" doesn't mean it's a done deal.  There are things like Administrative Processing that can require more time.

I wouldn't buy a plane ticket until my mother-in-law had her passport back with the visa in it.  We didn't have a fixed date of when she was coming...we did that after she had the visa in hand.

Vicky's Mom
