Hello, I am a naturalized US citizen is living in a foreign country ( Sri Lanka) with wife and family. However I have a house in Houston Texas and paying mortgage on it.  I filled I-130 Petition Wife.   I just looked in to USCIS  status and it says few days ago they have issued a letter to me requesting evidence(RFE). I think its they wanted to see my income ? if its a such a request how to respond to it ? coz Last few years I have filled 1040 with zero income.

Do i have to file amendment tax returns and show some income ?  pls help. I have no idea what to do :(

If you are only at the I130 stage now, it is difficult to speculate what the RFE is for.  Usually the financial questions come out later at the NVC and Consulate stages.  Have they not posted the RFE on your account yet?

Yeah you are right. I just found the RFE. It was about missing pages in my application. It says

Quote

Although you submitted the required Form I-130A, it is incomplete and is missing pages 4, 5 and 6 of
the required information.
Submit a fully completed and signed Form I-130A, Supplemental Information for Spouse Beneficiary,

So I'm going to send it again.

Form I-130A those mentioned pages not related to my application coz i didn't use any interpreter. Do I still need to submit empty pages ?

You should submit all pages of both the I130 and I130A forms, and put “N/A” in any entry not applicable where appropriate.

Good Luck!
