F1 to Green card via parent or sibling

See this all the time.

 

It will be quicker for your Mother to apply for you assuming you are single and stay single

 

No harm Sister filing as well.

 

Adjustment of status is a long long way away and you will have to maintain your status in the mean time.

Correct you need to wait for your priority date to be current.

No, you cannot file I-485 because your Priority date (PD) won’t become current for many years. Your category is numerically limited each year so there’s a very long bottleneck of cases to become current.

Always best to get as many I130's in process as possible, so I would agree, the potentially fastest way is through your mother under the F2B category (8 years plus) vs through your sister as F4 (16 years plus).  I believe if your mother naturalizes, you have the option to stay in the F2B category, but I am not certain.

OP, the problem is that you have to remain in status to be able to adjust, which would mean staying in the US on an F1 for 8-15+ years, which seems unlikely.
