My husband had his Interview on April 22nd 2024 after waiting 5 months for the interview to be scheduled. After the interview he was sent home with an RFE. He submitted evidence that same week and now we are waiting again! :(   The wait is the hardest part. The latest update on the USCIS site is that they received the RFE and it’s being actively reviewed.

Trying to be patient.  Everyone’s process is so different.

Almost 7 months since filing date, still waiting for the interview to be scheduled. According to live agent as of yesterday the case is still at NBC, which means it hasn't been forwarded to the field office yet for scheduling. No option but to wait I guess. Deep sigh. 🤷‍♂️

Thanks. I filed online on October 24th, 2023 so almost 7 months to get the interview scheduled. Marriage based with a pending I-751 ROC since November 2022.

Hi guys! Just an update. I had my oath taking today. The ceremony took around 2 hours coz each applicant had to check their Naturalization certificate for any errors first, and there were around 97 of us. So glad that it's already over!

The whole N400 application process took me around 7 months:

-NOA: Oct 13, 2023

-Interview: April 18, 2024

-Oath taking: May 15, 2024

Chicago Field Office, applied under 3 year rule (married for 6 years already, no kids). Originally from the Philippines and came under an F1. Passport appointment on Friday!

Thanks so much Visajourney community for being a great resource for the past years, from AOS to ROC and now Citizenship. Will be happy to pay it forward and answer anyone who has questions. I wish all of you the best of luck in your immigration journey and with whatever life brings! 🤗

We just got news that my husband is in line for the Oath ceremony to be scheduled !  Woooo!!! May 15th, we received notification that they approved his RFE and was automatically placed in line.  Thank you God 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.  Still a bit of waiting to do, but I’m so surprised at how quickly they reviewed his RFE. Took only 8 days to get an update after they received it.

My visa journey is finally over.

I had my oath ceremony today in Houston.

It is such a relief to be done with this process from the K-1 petition in August 2018 now to Naturalization in May 2024.

It has been a very fruitful 5+ year.

Thank God this is finally over.
