request for expedition for our uscis case?

my wife just went through as a surgery in USA this month and will be needing my assist as she goes through her recovery process. Could this a valid reason to request for expedition for our uscis case?

The more practical option would be to visit, expedites if approved may be quicker bit not quick.

Expedites are hard to come by, but you can certainly apply.  It's free.

You can try. Line your ducks in order, make sure you have clear and concise medical paperwork. I know of the situation where open heart surgery was pending due to blood cloth on the aortic valve, after labor and delivery. Only I after she had a heart attack, they did expedite it. Just so you know what to expect.

Thanks. Where have requested for expedition via Emma. If they send us a REF we will respond with the letter from the doctor. However we are aware that our chances are slim but its okay we tried
