(((((((((Liz))))))))) There are moments lately when I want to run screaming "I don't wanna go back!" as the start of school looms before me. I'm burned out, yet I don't want to abandon my students. Still, I feel like I'm ready for a new career, but where to start...and how to find it....and what do I want to do. I'm so ready to get out of this rental we're in....bad landlord situation....yet, we're trying to hold on a bit longer. I worry and fret over Joel not having a full time job...I can see the frustration on his face and it breaks my heart! I'm concerned about our daughter's health...sigh...sometimes I feel like I have DRAMA tattooed on my forehead. I'm certainly no drama queen, it just seems like DRAMA follows me everywhere I go and I get my share plus everyone else's too!

GAH! Calgon...take me away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

exactly how I feel right now

feel like it's all a mess and I have to take care of everything but really don't want to deal with any of it

plus my mom's health is all f-d up and i feel guilty about the fact that I will be moving out of canada in 5-6 months.. and then it'll be just my dad and her.. and how is it fair of me to have a ticket out ...?

I absolutely feel like I want to hide in a closet until somehow everything magically comes together. Since that and me winning the lottery will never happen, I've reduced myself to staring obsessively at my calendar and bank statements and pretending that I'm deaf to the many "suggestions" about my move.

I like my work. It's stressful once a month due to the nature of the job but it keeps me motivated and I love all the people I work with.

That being said, I have health issues and sometimes I'll have a flare up and I really could use a few days per week off. I'm hoping that in a few years once the hubby gets acclamated (sp?) with work I'll be able to move to part time but yes somedays I just feel like I'm putting every ounce of energy I have out just to get through the day.

It's funny because had I answered this poll a month ago I'd say that I was ready to explode.

But we just came back from a two week vacation, my hubby's EAD was in the mail, and he started to work this week.

He is much happier - as am I.

I went back to work for the school year and so far things have been great. I got the classroom and classes I wanted and have yet to have any problems.

I guess I'm truly burned out 'cause it ain't any better now that school has officially started and schedules and classes are settling. After 13 years teaching, I'm just ready to quit. Yet I am obligated at the moment to stay where I am. *sigh* It's thoughts like this that make me feel worthless.

Still burned out here...but biding my time until something else (that I qualify for) comes along. My schedule has changed SEVEN freakin times since school has started...that's the "joy" of doing supportive instruction - they can move you around. I heard a rumour that I'm gonna be changed yet again. *sigh* I wanna leave too!!!!!!!!!!!

How's it going with you Liz? Hoping you're feeling a bit better? (F)
