DS 160 and Scheduling Interview

Timeline

I have my nvc case number but it is still "at nvc". Am I able to complete the ds160 and schedule my interview now or do I have to wait until it is case ready?

Wait until it arrived at Embassy.

Yes. The status will change to ‘Ready’. That is when many of us do the 160.
