Cherry Blossoms Hotel is good for medical exam, but for interview, iI's far to be of a walking distance. It's just beside Robinson's Mall, and there is an BPI ATM nearby (only a few steps from the lobby door).

# Comparison: less expensive than average

# Directions: A neighbor of the massive Robinsons Place Mall in Ermita.

As for the interview, Bayview Park Hotel is the nearest. Just in front of the embassy.

My wife .anak and sis in law stayed a Lotus Garden 5 minute walk to St.Lukes. Jollibee across the street and MacDonalds close also. Anak loved that part.

P2900 for 3. They liked it. I saw pics of the room and was nice.

Stayed at Bayview Park [P3100] for interview.

Not quite as nice as Lotus Garden but right across the street from embassy.

No Big Macs close tho!

My husband and I stayed at Mabini Mansions for 1 week in preparation for my interview last April 2007. It is also an easy walking distance to USEM and to Harborview Restaurant (and even to SLEC and Robinson's Mall). It's a small hotel with kitchenette (good for people staying for a long time and would like to cook there). They belong to the Mansion Group of companies that also includes Amorsolo Mansions in Makati, where we also stayed for a month in 2006.

Claudeth and her Mom stayed at the Bayview for the entire week from her medical to the interview and thought the hotel was good. It wasn't all the expensive either but did run about $160. My friend always stays at the Swagman when he goes to Manila but I have heard it is a bit seedy.

The nearest to SLEC is Ralph Anthony's Suite (+632-521-1107 / 5590) (just 2-3 mins walking). It's not a hotel, it's some sort of an apartelle. Standard Room (with kitchen, no free breakfast)is around Php.1,400 per night. They don't accept early booking though. You have to reserve a room 2-3 days from date of your intended stay. In my case, I and my child stayed at Cherry Blossoms Hotel (+632-524-7631/7636). At Php.1,515.00 a night (with ref and free brekfast), it is affordable. The big bonus is, it is just beside Robinsons' Mall-Ermita, and an ATM just about steps away from the lobby. It is also just walking distance from SLEC, about 2 blocks away.
