i agree, why would anyone want to take potshots at my nice sister booty?

insecurity? jealousy? ppl take potshots at other ppl for a variety of reasons brother dean. in this case, who the heck knows.

maybe because she's chippy, bias, & doesn't mind taking shots at other people.

just drop it , smoke :)

not trying to be rude but this isn't going to solve anything...

Thanks Marilyn. Seems some people just can't let it go. BTW, not exactly sure how I'm biased considering I just said I am against amnesty but ok then.

Just couldn't stay my @ss away!

I think if the bashing of booty continues and this thread fails to go back to topic it should be closed. No one is getting anywhere anymore

Actually, you're wrong. I'm not pro amnesty. Why should I want someone to be handed their visa when we worked so hard for ours. Again, don't assume things you don't know.

There isnt much "work" involved in getting a visa at all, sure waiting is a real biotch, but work? You make it sound like your out there toiling and slaving away at it day after day.

Cant take the heat? close it, thats good.

Again, if you weren't assuming you know something about my situation, you might be right. But, alas, wrong again. It was work for us. Javi didn't just go to an interview and get his visa. He had to file a waiver and wait it out. Yeah, that sucked. But, there was no guarantee he was coming back. None. I had no money, depended on my mom and dad to pay my bills, even though I had two jobs. Not to mention all the other stuff that came about from him being in Mexico for 6 months after being here for 4 years. It wasn't easy and maybe our definition of work is different. But, again, that goes back to opinions. My opinion is, it was work for us, you don't have to agree and don't have to like it. And the whole point of this thread wasn't to bash someone. If you enjoy that sorta thing, maybe you need to take it somewhere else. The rest of us have lives and don't need to bash unknown people on the internet.

Sorry about what your going through. Being sorry doesnt do alot though does it? The harshness in your post is obvious, self pitty is quite self defeating also. Stand straight keep walkin and you will arrive where you want to be. I never looked at getting Carol her visa as work. I looked at it as a challenge and kind of liked it, sure there were down times but that just pissed me off.

Marc- Some would consider a challenge as work, you are trying to be too literal with the words here. You know what she meant. Getting a visa is not a cakewalk IMO. Yes there is work involved, work in making sure paperwork is correct, and preparing for everything. That is work.

Uh, thanks, I guess. I actually don't think you understood what I was trying to say but that seems to be going around a lot lately. I didn't think getting his visa was work, I thought the process we had to go through was. I had a lawyer so getting the visa was no work for me at all. I just told the lawyer the facts and he did everything. And, again, not feeling sorry for myself. I'm quite happy with the results of our hard work on getting Javi back here. He makes twice as much money as I do at my job. He was back only a year and was put in charge of the construction crew he had been working on. He's completely remodeled our house in the less than two years since he's gotten back. I think we're doing pretty good actually. But, again, thanks for your "concern" and encouragement.

I dont know about your life "nothing in my life has been a cakewalk" nor would I want it anyother way. I have never ever been a fan of "whoa is me" S&S, I do understand what you mean though.

Well if you'd quit replying I'd quit coming back to see what you said. Seriously though, I'm not upset with this thread anymore. Just in a bad mood in general. Woke up that way. This just helped me vent a little today. I am feeling a little better now.
