To be honest all I think others like HA are trying to say is that someone who has a partner, who was once an illegal immigrant, is most likely going to have pro amnesty view. A view which I understandable.

It does not change anything though. The Law is the law. Anyway who disrespects another nations federal laws has no right being there period.

understood, the difference is booy's husband went back to his country and did things legally! big difference in what we are all discussing in this thread. also it was just a stab at booty seeing there are others on the thread who have also been in booty's situation but booty was the only one targeted. it was irrelevant to the discussion on the thread and was uncalled for as being brought to attention.

So why not just say that instead of carrying on about a comment.

As an immigrant myself I do not expect any special treatment from this nation. Only if I become a citizen should I have any rights. This is not my nation therefore I tread extra carefully and do not go around disrespecting this nation's people or its laws. If I did, I would expect the authorities to throw me out rather than give me amnesty.
