What happens at biometrics appointment?

OK folks,

I promised my sweetie that I would ask---What exactly happens at your biometric appointment?

I know fingerprints are the biggie; but what else?

FYI--USCIS made her appointment 1 month after I mailed the AOS package--it is Aug 16 in Atlanta. Maybe I did an adequate job with the paperwork........or maybe they are getting more efficient

They take a photo of you, and take prints from all your fingers, thumbs and hands.

No big deal indeed other than they spent 10 minutes with two people on my right ringfinger....I always came out with a "match-alarm"

Also on the form you fill out they ask you to write your SS# if you have it

Most important thing is to check they have they spelling and A# correct on the final paper.

They blew it on ours and it took 3 separate appointments to correct their screw ups.

If she doesn't like the first pic they take. Have her ask for a 2nd or third.

It will be on her GC.

You paid $70 for about 15 minutes.

May as well get what you want for a "change" from the "Man".
