Should I provide any sort of thing with the I-129F , or will this be asked during the interview?

Don’t send extraneous info with the petition.   Hopefully you’ve spent/will spend quite a bit of time together in person?   Pakistan is a rough consulate, especially for K-1s.   Doesn’t help that she was also petitioned by an American fiancé last year.   Looks like she’s green card shopping.

It was never approved or got that far from what I'm told. Regardless it was sent in but cancelled. I can see that it may look that way but she definitely isn't that way at all. We've spent quite a bit of time together in person and I will be going soon to spend more time.

I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks!

More time = better.

Regardless of where the petition ended, they’ll know she was petitioned last year, which could  raise questions.   Hence, the more time spent in person, the better.  Islamabad consulate has challenges that other consulates do not, so many find they need to do more front-loading of the petitions.  K-1s are often denied.

Good luck.

What does front loading mean, multiple applications?

No.   Front-loading is recommended for high-fraud consulates, such as yours.   There may be better info on threads pertaining specifically to Pakistan (S Asia forum), but it is essentially including an abundance of evidence of the relationship’s bonafides, with the petition.  The requirements for the K are minimal, and for high fraud consulates, showing the minimum (one visit) is not enough.

Taking new evidence to the interview is fine, but sometimes the IO refuses to look at it, as the decision has been made already.   Hence “front-loading.”

It means adding as much evidence of a bonafide relationship as possible with the actual petition.

Most of us hardly sent any evidence at all with the petition (other than proof of having met in person). We brought all the rest of our evidence to the visa interview at the consular stage, and we did fine because we interviewed in low-fraud countries.

For high-fraud countries, many VJers will tell you to frontload the actual petition so the consular officer already has a lot of it on hand before the visa interview. Many times it appears that the CO has already made up his mind before the actual interview, and will refuse to look at any evidence you bring in person.

At what stage did she forgo the process?....was the petition approved? By forgo, was the petition withdrawn?
