DS160 - Where We will Live in the USA - currently both abroad

My sweetie and I are currently living in Taiwan, neither of our home countries. My employer has an office here, and I was asked to take on a roll overseeing some things.  We figured this was a good way to be together while waiting out this process.

We just began filling out DS160 and it asks where we will live in the USA.

I currently don't have a residence there, only a mailing address, though I am still paying taxes, and by definition, am domiciled in the USA.

What do I put for where we will live? My mailing address is my employer, so that seems suspect.

Can I use a parents address or will we run into problems?

Thanks

A similar question was asked on I-129F. What was your answer?

@Mike E I didn't post this elsewhere. I am not seeing that thread. Can you link to it?

Thanks

I scoured a bunch of other posts but didn't find an answer.

You are working on ds-160. That means you filled out I-129F and it was approved. A question is asked about where the in the US the beneficiary intends to live. So what was the answer?

gotcha, sorry dude. My brain is on overload right now.

For the I-129 that was for when I was living in California and was filled out almost two years ago.

Since then I agreed to do some stuff out of country for work. As of right now the address I used is no longer mine. Other than a bunch of stuff in storage, and my mailing address, I have no place to live. That's actually what prompted my shift overseas. I was getting the boot so they could sell.

So since there is no permanent residence what do I use? Would it present a problem if I used the address in I-129F? Seems like it would.

Unless your fiancé(e) has  intent to live at a specific address in the U.S., you should not list it as that is perjury.

So enter unknown.

And yes this will raise questions at the K-1 interview. There should be a specific address nailed down by then, and it would be a good idea to have a lease agreement to bring to interview.
