Waiver fee ?

I haven't start filing my AOS yet, but $1,010 is a lot of money! ohh poor hubby of mine. Is it possible to apply for a Fee Waivers?

Does anyone here has of the experience??

No? They do exist. Meeting the requirements to get a fee waiver is extremely difficult however.

Yes there is a fee waiver.... but how can you file for AOS showing that your husband can financialy support you if you cant pay for the application???

Do a search in the USCIS site for fee wavier.... for the full details...

Hard to convince them that you cannot afford, they will probably tell you to take out a loan.

In certain other instances an applicant or petitioner who believes that they are financially unable to pay that fee even though others must pay that fee can apply for a fee waiver. No, the fee waiver is automatic in those cases, it doesn't mean you can't get a fee waiver for other cases.

truth is he is able to pay all this, I was just the one looking for a 'not too much' burden for him to carry since I don't have an authorization to work yet.

If that's the case, then the wording is weird then since they word it as "can only be considered for the following forms".

Read the entirety of the above and tell me fee waivers are only for asylum seekers.
