Hey, our case was just created in NVC, and the Interview Location is listed as Moscow. Did this happen to anyone else? What are we supposed to do?

It will not be held in Russia.

What embassy was requested in I-130?

Yes, that's supposed to happen. In a few days they will give you a new case number and assign you to Warsaw. It took 3-4 days in our case. Just check the CEAC site for messages and proceed in the meantime.

We are still assigned to Moscow. My father has been ill and I’ve just not been able to move forward with our case. But I checked yesterday. Still Moscow.

We are also assigned to Moscow. CR1/IR1 case. We just got documentarily qualified for Moscow this week. We were under the assumption it would automatically switch to Warsaw...?

@ah-no @barbieland are you still assigned to Moscow?

Yes, we are. No updates since being DQ for Moscow over a week ago. But the Moscow embassy website still says Warsaw is the processing point for all Russians except IR5, so maybe they are just being slow about transferring it? I can't imagine the interview will actually be in Moscow.

You're going to need to contact NVC on a congressional staffer to get transferred. It's not going to get automatically reassigned, I think. We are at Warsaw since talking to congressional staffer.

Per your advice, I sent an inquiry to NVC about it and the next day it changed to Warsaw. Maybe just a coincidence, who knows. But it's finally changed! Now the wait for the interview begins.
