Did you send mail that as evidence?

The only thing I sent was the initial package by mail (that included the cell phone bills) Nothing else sent since.

I guess they scanned it there.

Biometrics was done today.

Then, status changed to:

”As of November 9, 2023, we are actively reviewing your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence”

Good luck 🍀 to all!

Shipped out our I-751 for spousal removal of conditions via UPS on October 1st.

Received notification from UPS that the package was delivered a day early, on October 3rd.

Received text message confirming case received with the IOE# on October 5th.

Check showed as cashed today, October 6th.

The case showed up automatically in Petitioner's USCIS account. We used the A# on the application and that was apparently enough to make the connection. No copy of the notice of receipt listed. However, it said one was mailed October 3rd.

It's been over a month and we've heard nothing about biometrics. No mail, no email, and nothing on the USCIS account besides a copy of the receipt notice. Is it normal to not hear about biometrics for awhile, or is this something we need to pursue? Our service center is the National Benefits Center if that matters.

Some people don't hear about biometrics for 6+ months nowadays.

I had people whose biometrics took over a year to get reused.

Unfortunately, I-751 is very slow. You won't hear anything for many months, at least in my experience.

That's helpful to know. I see others getting theirs in relatively short order, so our situation seemed out of the ordinary. Thanks!

Here is my updates:

October 30: Package mailed via USPS.

November 7: USCIS text received that package received on 11/2.

November 9: 2 Notices sent out. One for extension letter for 48 Months and the other one for biometrics re-use.

November 9: Status changed to "Case is being Actively Reviewed by USCIS" on case tracker mobile App.

I do have a couple questions:

1. Looks like we use the extension letter along with expired GC for international travel now for the next 48 months ?

2. Also, Can we use the same extension letter to renew the Drivers license with DMV ? Already got a letter from DMV about the renewal reminder as driver's license has the GC expiration date as well.

Good luck to everyone still waiting for biometrics re-use letter and extension letter.!!

Yes, you can travel with it. Check out thread for experiences:

An odd situation here: We were approved according our USCIS account at the end of May. We received an email of an account update, and it said Case Approved when we logged in, with a message saying an approval notice was sent. Then the approval date updated in early June. No letter came, no card being produced notice. We followed the instructions to wait 30 days to report no notice, did that 2 months in a row, and we eventually received a reply that said:

Your case is currently under review. You should receive a decision or notice of other action shortly.

That was the middle of August. We're still stuck on Approved in our USCIS account, with no other information.

Anyone else encountered this?

That's unfortunate. Nothing is really certain until you have approval letter in the mail and physical GC in hand. Looks like either somebody accidentally clicked approval button or the approval needed review from adjudicator's manager who held off confirming the approval. We can only speculate here. Please keep us posted!
