Some people have found that cases going to the NBC means you are more likely to get an interview for ROC, which may mean longer processing times. I have not seen the statistics myself so cannot vouch for them, just speculating based off some anecdotal posts I’ve seen on VJ.

For what it’s worth, my husband’s AOS went to NBC and we had to go in for an interview. Wait time at Seattle FO was 2 years.

Ohh okay I see! Thank you for clarifying!

We got Vermont Service Center (VSC). Uscis reports 23.5 months, VJ timelines show ROCs with NOA1 date of Sep 2022 are currently being processed.

who knows though, ROC is such a gamble re: timing

What other evidence did you send to show cohabitation?

My lawyer told me to have them signed by those people and attach copies of their state ID / DL. To say it was ackward to ask is to say nothing. But friends were very keen on providing it, and my I-751 got approved.

Notarizing it may be easier / safer than asking for their IDs.

Thanks. Do you know where to find online USCIS account number by any chance?

Were you interviewed for your I-485?

Albeit having an interview for AOS does not automatically mean your ROC interview will be waived.

Nope. The only interview we've had in the entire process was at Montreal when the spousal visa was granted.

October 17: Box mailed via UPS

October 19: Box reached Elgin lockbox (Priority Date)

October 23: USCIS text received
October 25: Money order has been cashed
October 30: Biometrics Reuse letter + USCIS Online access code letter. Found out that our service center is YSC (Potomac).

No sign of the Receipt Notice extension letter yet. I suppose those get sent out separate?

Probably too late now, but I found mine on the old Account Acceptance Notice as well as my 485 Biometrics Notice 😅
