100% agree.

For those stuck cases, USCIS scheduled or reused biometrics, closed the file, put it back in the box and wouldn't even look at for many months.

I hope recent filers are luckier.

We Filed June 2021.
Texas Service Center

No biometrics

no Rfe

no interview

My wife received her 10yr green card early in August 2023

26month wait.

Pretty fast for USCIS if you ask me 🤷🏻‍♂️
