Covid Vaccine Full Course Required?

For the IR-1 medical exam in China is the full course of the covid vaccine required or just one dose?

The Guangzhou consulate page says the full course is required, in which case we'll do it ourselves in advance. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/GUZ-Guangzhou.html#med_exam_instructions

The civil surgeon's instructions say the full course is not required and just one dose administered along with the rest of them during the medical exam is fine. https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/civil-surgeons/vaccinations.html#covid-19-vaccination

I'm guessing they just didn't update the Guangzhou consulate's page.  Can anyone confirm the most up-to-date requirements?
I also wanted to ask if anyone knows which covid vaccine(s) the medical examiner in Shanghai will/could give?
