For me being in the US I have to say Krispy Kreme doughnuts (donuts) are my all time favourite US pastime.

The food I miss the most from the UK is a good old fashioned Sunday Roast mmmmmmm!

Yeah, Mexican and Chinese in Brasil are lacking, so those two will be the ones I´ll crave at first.

Partial solution -- ChromPic (blocks carb absorption).

Also, use variant of "baked beans in sauce" as substitute for refried beans (this works, especially with good seasoning; actually tried it from LACK of knowledge) as filling for burritos/tacos/etc.

I´m not a bean fan, or we´ll be eating much mexican at home anyway.

Yes, the use of the unofficial "thru" for the correct "through" is very common in North America; the difference is that many Yanks actually think that "thru" is the correct spelling unlike Canucks. :lol:
