Congrats TracyTN!!! :D I was just wondering if anyone else has had more than 1 email regarding card production ordered?

I got mine on Sept 22nd and just received another one today??? :oops:

Well USCIS is working after all!

Hubby's AP and EAD were approved yesterday. :D

I thought the same way. I've been checking my status online and no movements until I finally received a request for initial evidence.

BTW, congrats Tracy on hubby's AP and EAD!

Status online is kind of useless right now since they're not updating it, but for some reasons, it helps to think that your case is part of their online system. :thumbs:

Hummingbird - I think USCIS are very 'off' with their emails - your situation highlights that, as does my two emails per approval. I also got 2 emails with our petition NOA2, and I remember some others around that time not getting an email at all -- until a month after the fact!!! :blink:

Definitely no rhyme nor reason!

2007-02-26: filed for K-1

2007-03-19: K-1 approved

2007-06-11: K-1 in hand

2007-07-03: arrived in USA

2007-07-21: got married, yay!

2007-07-28: applied for green card

2008-02-19: conditional green card in hand

2010-01-05: applied for removal of conditions

2010-06-14: 10-year green card in hand

2013-11-19: applied for US citizenship

2014-02-10: became a US citizen

2014-02-22: applied for US passport

2014-03-14: received US passport

My husband's EAD was approved today, according to two e-mails and case status update on the USCIS website. We are very grateful. This is a happy ending for a challenging week.

I'm the USC.

11/05/2007........Conditional permanent residency effective date.

01/10/2008........Two-year green card in hand.

08/08/2009........Our son was born <3

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.

April - Filed I-90 for green card error (never got receipt confirmation from USCIS)

June 13 - Got email saying card production ordered (hope this is it!)

Yay indeed! Looks like it's all starting to move...I actually have four emails about the EAD now... :blink:
