I had my biometrics appointment on 9/11 and it still says "....case not found..." on USCIS website.

I am not able to retrieve my case on line, my biometrics is not until next week.

I had my biometrics appointment on 9/11 and it still says "....case not found..." on USCIS website.

I spoke with an Immigration Officer at USCIS and was told they are behind on their data entry.

They will try to be back on schedule with data entry by the end of October.

Our cases should be online by then......"hopefully".

I'm in exactly the same boat. My wife's NOA's for her EAD and AOS were received very quickly, to this date I can only check the EAD online, the AOS hasn't shown up. The scanned image of the check don't seem to match but I'm sure they do, we had the same thing happen to her I-129f which turned out fine.

Hi,

we had our bio appt on 9/18 and still the case is not accessible online nor via phone line. The same with our cashed check the number looked different, but i think it was the ink or something.

I am hoping the next letter we get is our AOS interview and not an rfe. At least we're not the only ones still unable to view case online.

I've researched some of the members on this listing ... please update MDSMIF noa 09/10/07 and NY_IZMIR noa 09/04/07.

Is there anyone else here that has received absolutely no word from USCIS like me ... checks not cashed?

Hi Lynamon,

I haven't received any news since 6aug2007 from USCIS.

I-485, 765 & 131 sent via Fedex on 3 Aug, and received at Chicago lockbox by John Chyra on 6 Aug.

My check hasn't been cashed yet and nothing received from USCIS in mail. I called the customer service and the agent advised me to see the immigration officer at the local office.

The officer at Charlotte office told me that they are backlogged at the service centers, and have detailed three of their own staff to help the service centers. I mentioned that many applicants who have filed after me have received their NOAs, and she said that my file might be at the desk of someone who is more backlogged than other (!!!) , though the cases are processed in the order they are received.

When I asked that the USCIS website mentions the complete processing of applications received at the Lockbox until the third week of August, she said, "The information on website is not that accurate" (???!!) and advised me that I can do nothing except to wait.

Has someone else been in a similar situation, and knows a better way to deal with it? I am worried that they haven't even opened my packet yet.

USCIS is becoming ridiculous in their claims as someone else filed in Sep, and has received the notices:

Case 1:

09/09/2007 Papers received at chicago Lockbox

09/20/2007 Noa sent from uscis

09/24/2007 Received i797´s from uscis

Case 2:

10 sept 2007- sent AOS package back with new fees

21 sept 2007- NOA1 for I-485 and I-765

26 sept 2007- check cashed

I don't know what to do now.

None even though I received an RFE - or maybe I should call it "Request for Initial Evidence", in the mail yesterday. They are asking for W-2s, 1099s and/or all schedules submitted to the Internal Revenue Services. I can't believe they are asking for this AGAIN since I included all the pertinent documents and supporting documents in our AOS packet. I guess I have no choice but to respond and send another copy. Oh well... it's not so bad. At least we know that they are really working on our case, right? I'll be sending the documents today so that they can resume processing.

This is very typical, there are a lot of people that have this happen. its as if they can not be bothered really looking through the packet for the information.
