Hi! I finally got my mail from USCIS Its a i-797C, Notice of Action indicating my case numbers for both AOS & EAD alongwith Biometrics appointment. Is this my NOA1?? I am in California but my service centre is MSC????
Anyways please add my bio appt date as sept 22

Yes that's your NOA... Did you receive the biometric appointment notice separately? It's MSC for all AOS regardless of your location, as far as I know.

Thanks Mae. Nope I didnt receive the biometrics letter separately. The I-197C states that I need to go for my Biometrics at Oakland at 8 am on sept 22. Is this normal??? I mean for the NOA to state the biometric appointment?

Well, I guess that's your Biometrics appointment then. Did you see a case number that starts with MSC-XX-XXX-XXXXX? If so, maybe it's 2-in-1 notice (is it possible??? ) Anyway, who cares about the NOA if you have the bio appointment already, right? :thumbs:

Hope I'll get my bio appointment next week...

I never expected to see my case online right away since someone mentioned that they will input your case in their system after the Biometrics. I guess every case/NBC is different.

update on my progress:

Check cashed 8-29 and received 7-30-2007 NOA1 8-27-2007

son's application RFE due to a mixup at USCIS mixup on fee payment even though it arrived together with my wife's application. Next step is to make an appt with my local office to clear the fee.
