Can I enter with a tourist visa stating I'm visiting my boyfriend as the reason?

When I filled out the 160 form to apply for a tourism visa I had written I don't know anyone from the states, and now I'm in a happy relationship with someone from there. He has already visited me here.

My tourism visa was approved and in the interview they just asked where me and my dad were going, which was the plan at the time. When I return the visit to my bf, can I just say I'm visiting him? I've read it's even legal to get in with the intention to marry someone and then leave, so just saying I'll visit my boyfriend shouldn't be an issue?

If you are asked at the port of entry what your plans are, say “visiting my boyfriend”. Answer the questions that are asked.

You should always say the truth on the forms. If you were to come to the US, marry him on this trip and try to adjust - this could become a problem. You can be accused of misrepresentation (both immigrant intent and not disclosing you know somebody in the US) and thus deemed inadmissible.

And also reply truthfully to CBP about your travel plans.

A tourist visa gives you the opportunity to visit the country for leisure, tourism and short-term business visits. Indicating that you are visiting your boyfriend as a reason for entry on a tourist visa may raise questions from border and immigration authorities, as it may be seen as a potential intended long-term stay or an attempt to enter into a romantic relationship in the country while on a tourist trip.

Like, sorry i dunno how forums work very well. but, yeah two ppl said i should say the truth, but like 1 says saying the truth would be bad

Who's saying the truth would be bad? I can only see two responses here, both say to tell the truth?

Yes, if it's been deleted then ignore it completely! As above, just tell the truth, and good luck.
