I received approval letter since July 11 and that our case has been sent to NVC but after waiting for a month and reaching out to NVC, they just received our approval letter September 1. How long does it take to receive a welcome letter from them cos there’s an expiration date on the approval letter.

NVC does not send welcome letters. It only sends a notification when your case leaves NVC to go to the consulate. This can take weeks or months, depending on w the individual consulate backlog. If you want to find out your case sooner than that then you’ll have to contact NVC and ask for it. Otherwise you just keep waiting. Expiration date isn’t relevant because the delays are not your fault.

Thank you all

I received an email today stating that the will now forward our application to the embassy and we need to follow the next step by going to their website.
I clicked on the website and it requires me to file affidavits of support. They asking for my tax return, do I send the income taxes or their is a particular one they require

Which website? If it’s the one you find on the case status, it is for spousal visas and doesn’t apply to K1.

Any documents will need to be physically brought to the interview by the beneficiary.

Consulates prefer tax return transcripts. Yes, income one.
