Hello! We got our numbers back from nvc today after inquiry. I'm very happy!

I'm concerned however as we didn't receive any number for her child that was listed on the k1 application.

How do I fill out the ds160 for her child without his own Id number?

Maybe I have this all wrong. Can somebody assist?

Thank you all

When you filled the I-129F, did you include the child's information?
If so, then you'll get a single case number from NVC.

Yes the childs info was included on the k1 application.

We only recieved one case number for the primary beneficiary via inquiry. Is the  child supposed to have their own as well?

No.  One petition, one case number.  The embassy will likely add something like a -1 or -2 to the end of the case number to identify separately.
