The videos were first livestreamed on a website that is not password-protected and on which The Post reported the couple had more than 5,700 followers. Gibson’s attorney, Daniel P. Watkins, said that sharing the videos violated the state’s revenge porn law.

“Capturing and disseminating this content without permission is unlawful recording and it plainly violates Virginia’s revenge porn statute. We are working closely with law enforcement to bring accountability to the wrongdoers,” he told CNN in an email.

“This is an illegal invasion of my privacy designed to humiliate me and my family. It won’t intimidate me and it won’t silence me,” Gibson said in a statement shared with CNN on Tuesday.

“My political opponents and their Republican allies have proven they’re willing to commit a sex crime to attack me and my family because there’s no line they won’t cross to silence women when they speak up,” she said. “They are trying to silence me because they want to silence you, and I won’t let that happen.”

 

I really do not care about her side gig.

 

But you livestream on the Internet, and then claim invasion of privacy.

I guess she thinks things put on the internet are meant to be private.  To me that shows a complete lack of intelligence.

I.... good lord. There used to be a time when candidates had to go through pre-vetting, oppo research, and all that stuff. Now it seems anybody is good to go and thinks they will be okay held up to scrutiny. Well honestly? She reminds me of the mayor of my town, that gets up to similar stuff. People only seemed to care about their activities once they got into office though..

She has two small children, not sure if they are of school age, but children being what children are, well....

 

At least she has the victim mentality pretty much screwed down. No pun intended.

 

I have come to the conclusion that the system basically pre selects those who want to participate and we get what we get.

That is the interesting thing on this one.  She seems to be taking the victim route relative to something she chose to do instead of owning it.  Not really sure why she thought this would stay private.

It never was private, she live streamed it, I never know how true this is but seems some people think they can scrub stuff they post to the Internet like it was never there.

 

Actually now I think of it that has come up in Immigration terms, well I will delete all my Facebook/Insta stuff.
