Should bring a U.S. birth certificate

seems weak

Social security records, school records, vaccination records, tax returns, medical records, leases, U.S. driver’s licenses.

Thanks and noted!  What are Social Security Records and how do we obtain those?

Social Security is a federal pension system that at least 90 percent of workers in the USA are required to pay into. It analogous to Canada’s CPP / QPP.

Any adult U.S. citizen unaware of this and who shares this unawareness with DoS when applying for a CRBA will elevate suspicion that the required physical presence has not been met.

Social Security records, specifically earnings records, will show each year  a  U.S. citizens parent paid into the pension system.

The U.S. citizen creates an account on ssa.gov and prints earnings records. Just 5 years of records will not suffice.
