My Mary's interview date is on friday, Aug. 3rd. We have been waiting for this day, for awhile now. Thank God the time is near. I have been trying not to bother her, and I have been trying not to think about it. I even stayed away from using the computer, and have been doing speacial projects at the office, to keep my mind away from thinking about the interview. All of our paperwork is in order, and she is prepared.

I really can not imagine how nervous she is, because I have never gone through an embassy interview. I would imagine, she is nervous and anxious. My question is: How much pressure is on the woman leading up to the interview?

I think there is a lot of pressure involved in anything like this, but worrying and fretting seems to make the time go by a lot more slowly. Try getting the house ready, make some room in your closet, wash the car and weed the garden... not only will you feel as if you have accomplished a lot of things to make the place have a more welcoming feel for her, but you will also be keeping yourself occupied with heavy duty jobs that take time and effort and it will help you ease your mind a lot. I know because time flew by as I scrubbed the house down before Loke came home... he was busy as hell and I was busy as hell and hell... we were busy lol

It was good to keep that way and the time flew by a lot faster. We really didn't have a lot of time to worry much and I also did a great deal of our Adjustment of Status paperwork as well and that kept me in tuned with the next step while he rushed to sell his stuff and pack. I hope this helps some.

Oh yeah! And good luck!!!

Help her feel confident. Preparation is key - if you both feel you'll done your best to prepare then tell her to relax and be herself because she'll do just fine. The CO's job is determine if there are any inconsistencies from the information that was submitted for the I-129F and now. Be confident that your paperwork is all in order and don't worry. :star:

as long as you have all the necessary documents to prove that you have genuine relationship and that you can support her, i can say that you both dont have to feel nervous. i know the feeling of how is it being interviewed. all she need is to relax, and of course PRAYERS can help a lot! im sure she can make it.

GOOD LUCK! GOD BLESS!

Count MJ for Friday also. She is feeling pretty good right now. She is a bit worried that she will get one of those interviewers that aren't so nice but she has her paperwork in order. I told her to just smile at all times even if she gets a grouch, lol. She flies to Manila on Thursday.

Good Luck to all!!!!

Well, good luck my friend. Best wishes to you and your SO! The time is finally near. I agree with Mister Fancypants; just help her feel confident, relaxed, and be herself. Sure, being nervous and anxious is expected. The pressure is really how much you put upon yourself. But, I think you've prepared each other well for the interview. All the paperwork is there.
