Trying to find packet

Hi everyone,

I am in a problem. My Fiance and i have had HUGE argument in last week and we just started talking to one another last night. The problem is that the Call Center has said they sent out the packet you get before the interview and after NVC). Her interview is scheduled for Sept 13. I have spent ALOT of money calling the Call Center and they told me that packages are lost, stolen, etc. and you can download them from the website OR she can go to the St. Lukes with passport, photos, etc.

I have told her this many times and she doesn't either believe me or them or both. Her sister went through this (from Hong Kong which is a completely different country) and she experienced the waiting game. So my Sweetie, thinks that this normal and that i should calm down. However we would not have known about the interview date had i not called and asked. they said the packet was shipped the 13th of July. She has not received it though.

We are not discussing this anymore and out relationship is VERY STRAINED at the moment and i am trying to find out which courier company is used and what that number is. I do not know the tracking number so i will have to telll them where it was sent from and who it is going through. Is that correct?

Can someone give me any info, help, whatever....ASAP

My packet was dated June 12, but I received it from DHL on June 23. I checked DHL's AWB and it was actually picked-up at the embassy on June 22 (overnight).

When the embassy says that the packet was already sent, it usually means, "the appointment letter has already been generated, but not really released to DHL." As soon as the letter is generated, the embassy will post it online.

September 13 is still far. Anyway, if you want to have early medical appointment, you can print your medical and appointment dates from the US Embassy website (check my timeline for the Visa Appointment Website).

What is DHL AWB? I know DHL but not sure about the AWB? I have tried calling DHL Domestic but they tell me to look at Wide Wide World Express for the answers.

She still has not gotten her police clearance from HK yet.

AWB -air waybill or the invoice

When calling them be friendly (not demanding) so they will have the heart to help you with your case.

Seriously, my fiance called DOS and they told him USE sent package 4 Friday(July 13) but then until now i am still waiting for my packet 4 to arrive through DHL. I'll have my interview Sept. 11. So i guess all we need to do is wait, relax and see a movie. jkjk Sept. 13 is still far away.

Ours is within the normal timeline.

I find it curious though that I called DHL/Wide Wide World Express that morning trying to find it (complaining sort of) and then it shows up later that afternoon. The Call Center says they sent it on the 13th and the letter is dated 17th.

Do we still need to call the Bank to see which DS form is stamped? Also, do we bring these forms with us to the interview or are we to send it now? Why are we not using the online forms to do this? I found that to be kind of weird that they tell us to use online forms and then send a paper copy in the packet.

just incase you cant access it online you have the packet to use plus the appointment is in the packet... i used most of the forms online since its cleaner and has a barcode... the bank will provide their own DS forms so you dont have to worry on which DS form to use (although i brought my packet that day)... the most important form in that packet is the appointment letter bring that to USEM. i brought 2 forms though (the packet and the online print outs just incase i need to change/fill something) but i use the online print outs... good luck!!! i know this process is very stressful enough and cost alot of time, money and emotional stress but it'll turn just fine. tell your girl good luck and no more LQ/arguments lol

let her bring paste, liquid eraser for emergency, couple of ladies borrowed mine for some typo error
