Transfer B1/B2 visa interview from India to Denmark

Relative currently has a visa interview in India, but is currently in Denmark for a few months. Is it possible to transfer the interview over to Denmark? I filed a new DS 160 application for Denmark and then tried to schedule an interview. It then said there is another profile with the same details under a different email ID. Asked if I want to merge profiles. I said yes and was asked to upload a copy of the passport. Got an email reply later saying the following:

"Thank you for contacting the U.S. Visa Service Desk.  We would like to inform you that, your profile duplication request needs to be raised from a different / new email address.

Please find the details for cancellation:  Profile has a valid receipt tagged.

Thank you,
The U.S. Visa Service Desk"

What does this mean? How does one transfer over to Denmark? Don't mind paying another visa fee.

You can not transfer, it would need to be a new application

How the IT side of things work I do not know, sounds like you confused the system.

Why can't they interview in India since they have already been scheduled? Isn't that easier?

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.
