TD Visa Interview Wait Times - Canada

My wife is a non-Canadian currently a PR in Canada. We applied for her for a TD Visa to join me in the United States. Currently the first available interview slots are November 2024 in any embassy in Canada, is that actually the case? That really sucks if that's actually the case.

Sounds likely they have very long wait times for NIVs in Canada.

Canada is hugely backlogged at the moment. When is your wife eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship? It may be quicker for her to apply for that and then get her visa at the border.
