Oh, wow, I wasn't really expecting the biometrics to be re-used, since he last did them in 2015!  I'm surprised, but sure enough - Biometrics Reuse Notice is there, along with Receipt Notice.  Thanks for prompting me to check!

An hour later, and the Case Status has updated already!  "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" now, about an hour after Biometrics Reuse notification.  Yippee!

Edited to add: the processing time also changed, it originally said 16 months when first filed, now two hours later it says 9 months. :)

9 months are pretty good timings at most of the filed offices. But majority of the posts i went through, ppl got the interview date much faster like in 4 months.

wow! im happy for yall. mine still hasnt move yet lmao. still stuck on receipt

I am not sure what could be the reason but if you are referring to "not getting bio reuse letter in your online account" shouldn't be a big deal. There are ppl i came across on VJ and they got their bio done at the service center and have their citizenship approved. Stay positive and give us a good news soon :)

Submitted my app on Mon 9/11/23. Immediately received bio reuse and acceptances letters online. On tue & wed morning received emails saying “we have taken action on your app” but when I log into the account not updates. Until today it remains on we received your application. I am at the Dallas office. Good luck to all. Oh wait time is 16 months.

Oh wow that is great. What feild office are you going to be interviewing at. I wonder if that is why some apps turn to currently reviewing quicker than others??? 🤷🏽‍♀️

you should be seeing wait time less than 10 months if not today then probably in a few days. Dallas office is pretty fast comparing to other FO. I may be wrong but i read few posts already from those with Dallas FO. Damn i spent alot of time sniffing around different month filers. it gives me an idea when should september filers should start hearing updates on their cases

how the heck yall getting the reuse biometrics letter already? I filed 4 days ago and still nothing lol

Same here, no reuse of the biometrics letter yet after 3 days, and the estimated time is 16 months. I filed on Sept 13, and nothing yet, just the receipt for the $725. I am filing under the 3-year ( filed after 2 years and 9 months) I still don't know my service center, the receipt notice has the address of the National Benefits Center but no service center address yet. I am in South Texas.

Check the DOCUMENT section (if you haven't done so already) Wished if i knew the exact recipe why some get both letters and some get just one. But you should be able to receive one but if not, trust me it is not big deal.

else about your field office. check this out. Enter your residential zip code here (scroll to bottom of page) -- https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-a-uscis-office/field-offices

I check the Documents tab daily but nothing yet. The link showed me the nearest USCIS office to my location. Thanks for the reply.

Lol yeah I am right there with you. Seems like they have been trying to get n400 apps processed quicker than usual which is great news for us. What FO are you. I will continue to wait and post back here when my status changes. Hopefully it will be quick. Goodluck

Thanks, I live in South Texas if this is your question but I haven't received the I-797, so I don't know my USCIS service center yet. All I got was a receipt for the fees and that was it. Good luck to you as well.
