Hi Everyone,

I just received my interview letter today. It mentions that I need Selective Service Registration in the interview letter.

1. I am female

2. I was 27 years old when I entered the US.

Do I still need to register for selective service?

Thank you

I applied on 9/3 and got my interview was scheduled today.  I’m also Newark based so you should have your interview notice very soon.  Just wait for it.

Looks like we all have interviews in Newark on the same day. Best of luck to you guys, what documents are you taking in the interview day? do you have a pending I-751? If you do have pending I-751, did the interview letter mention anything about a combo interview?

I don't think you will know... I have a pending I-751 as well. I'm assuming however the case officer will pick it up when you interview. Make sure your spouse is there just in case.

I finally took my oath last Friday and am done with my immigration journey now. I applied on Sept 10, had my interview on Dec 27, and took my oath on Jan 12. I started this journey back in December of 2019 when I applied for my J1 waiver. Such difficult days… wish you all good luck soon to be US citizens…
