So we should study Civics Test questionnaire version from 2008? Also what is different from March 1, 2021 (see below)? Any other questions that can be asked besides what is in the questionnaire? I heard they can ask who is my states senators/representatives. Is that true?

Civics Test

2008 Version
The 2008 version of the civics test is an oral test, and the USCIS officer will ask you up to 10 questions from the list of 100 civics test questions. You must answer 6 questions correctly to pass the 2008 version of the civics test.

  • Applicants who filed their Form N-400 before December 1, 2020, will continue to take the 2008 civics test at initial exam, re-exam, or N-336 hearing.
  • Applicants who file their Form N-400 on or after March 1, 2021 will also take the 2008 civics test at initial exam, re-exam, or N-336 hearing.

That's correct. Study the 2008 version. You will see that there are questions about your state's senators and representatives and they can ask you that during your civics test.

Application submitted online: Sep 20

Receipt notice / Reuse of biometrics: Sep 20

Likely San Jose office based on 5 year rule, filed little under 90 days early. ETA is down to 8mo this week.

Just got my interview scheduled for Jan 18th. No notification, just saw it randomly. It's at Santa Clara FO which I am not even sure how it popped up since there was only San Jose FO unless the address changed. Location on Google maps seems the same as San Jose FO.

I am about a week away from anniversary date.

My processing time also jumped from the prior 4 mo to now 7 mo

I tried again and still not getting the code.. are you being able to log in currently?

I had the same issue about 12 hours ago (late Monday night) and it wouldn't send the code at all, even by morning it had not sent anything. But I tried just an hour ago and it sent the code right away, as it usually does. I wouldn't worry - I think their 'send code' feature is malfunctioning sometimes, but it does work sometimes! Try again in a few hours, I'd suggest.

Do you have pending long term GC? I uploaded applicant-correspondence under N-400 asking for joint interview for I 751 or whatever that form was, few days before my interview was scheduled.
