B1/B2 DS-160 Help

Hi! I have been reading several topics here but I was previously denied of B1/B2 visa so I am still very anxious and would like to have some help.

Background: I am 32, F, living in Philippines. Been employed at my company for 7yrs now. I am single (I do have an American bf but he lives in Japan right now). My mother is also a PWD and I would consider it as one of my ties to my country. I have previously travelled (with friend/s and alone) but mostly in Southeast Asia (Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand plus Japan)

I have a friend who’s been in the US for over 18 yrs and is now an American citizen. We’ve been friends for more than 10yrs. I indicated on my form that I will be staying with her. On the form about travel companion, I answered that I will not be traveling with other person. Is this ok? I am flying alone. But will travel around with her. She doesn’t have to apply for a tourist visa since she doesn’t need one now.

I know there may be couple of topics similar to this but I am very anxious since I was previously denied and any help/tips would really be appreciated.

It is OK and you have correctly filled out the form

Thank you. The wording of that question was confusing.

Also if anyone could give me tips. I feel like having an American bf can be seen as a red flag. But he lives and works in Japan for over a year now. I posted him quite a bit on my social medias. I’m not sure if they will look into it.

Interviews tend to be short and sharp, I doubt they will check your social media

Seems you filled out everything ok so good luck
