should I add my newborns birth certificate to our I-130? And how?

I was wondering if I should submit our new baby's birth certificate even if I already submitted the I-130 a year ago? I also got a RFE because I didn't submit the I-130a, can I just submit the birth certificate along with that? Will adding the birth certificate(after having already submitting the I-130 over a year ago) delay the overall process?

Limit RFE response to what was requested in RFE.

Is the baby a U.S. citizen?

Yes he is a US citizen but I do not know how to add a document onto our i130 ... or if we are even allowed to...? Can he show them the baby's birth certificate at the interview?

Write to the USCIS address on I-130 receipt. The letter should note the case number and purpose of the letter. Include a copy of the receipt and birth certificate.

I don't see a need to add the birth certificate now.  The baby will be counted in the household size on the affidavit of support, and you can take the Birth Certificate and CRBA to the interview.  Can also be uploaded as a Civil Document at NVC stage.

Wouldn’t it be evidence of a bona fide marriage?

Yes, but not necessary to add now.

Some ISOs consider co-procreation as gold standard evidence of bonafide marriage.

Failure to take this shot at a wide open net  baffles me.

I was thinking the same thing I just wasn't sure if it was too late to submit now...

If you can.

Some people have challenges with the online I-130 User Interface. I am advising a known way  to add facts to a case versus a hypothetical. I have no way to lawfully test if adding evidence to an I-130 works with an upload.
