Approved I-129f s expire after 4 months.  However, consulates normally can extend them in 4 month intervals up to a year.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

The consular officer will extend the validity, its not our fault this process is taking longer than it used to be

NOA2: 16th September 2023
NVC Case Creation: 5th October 2023 (Julian Method)
In Transit: 11th October 2023 
Documents arrived at Embassy: 16th October 2023
Medical Appointment: 2nd November 2023
Interview Date: 21st November 2023

I submitted DS160 this morning and registered her address.  Now we will wait for PKT3 from consulate.
