B1B2 employment history

I applied for b1b2 visa renewal recently. My passport got returned with a slip asking me to come in for an interview and bring in a detailed resume. I went through my DS160 again and noticed i had forgotten to write that I had done food delivery work last year. I had worked 7-8 days altogether part time in the evenings alongside my regular job. I havent done that ever since, hence i did not remember to include it. I doubt that me coming in for an interview has anything to do with the food delivery thing, i dont think they have any information about it.

I am planning to mention to them during the interview that I had forgotten to write that, although i did send a notice of assessment (tax return form) to them initially with the income from the food delivery included in it. The tax return form is the only official thing i have to prove my work there, as this work is technically considered self employment. Will they require me to provide something else or will the tax return form be sufficient?

Will they make an issue out of the fact that i forgot to mention it?

This does not seem material.

Your current job matters more. If it is self employment, that is a weak tie

The food delivery was just a side job. Actual and current job is with a company.

Funny you should say that. My wife is self employed, but they gave her the visa and asked me to come in for an interview. Dont understand it.

Yeah that is odd, but depending on how you perform,  her visa could be revoked. 😂

Any clue why they asked me to bring in a resume for a b1b2?

1. They are curious your job stability

2. If they have connected the dots with your wife, they are curious how much you depend on her self employment income.

3. You have not noted how much you used your previous visa. Frequent use might indicate your job is a weak tie.
