Hello everyone,

My fiance had her K1 interview a few days ago, but the US embassy denied her application, and they requested additional information from me to provide. Such as joint sponsor tax documents

Does anyone know what happens after I submit the sponsor's financial documents? Does she get her Fiance visa after?

My second question is on a specific question on I-134 FORM  PART 3, NUMBER 14 (page 6). If the joint sponsor has kids and a wife, does he include their names in that section even though they are not contributing financially or working?

Thanks,

Gary

Yes they have to be listed.

What should he put regarding the corresponding dollar amount next to the kids and the wife under the "Income Contribution to the Beneficiary Annually (if none, type or print $0)" category?

Thank you.

I don’t know much yet about the I-134. I’m still waiting for my fiancés package to be shipped from NVC to Armenia embassy. But from what I know it is normal when they ask for extra documents. If you provide it they’re going to issue a visa ! So you should be fine.
I’m not much help here, but if you don’t mind can you tell me how long it took NVC to send your case to embassy? Thank you and good luck 🙏🙏🙏

Hello Kaan,

Thank you for your information. It did not take that long from NVC to Embassy transfer. I think less than 2 weeks. Once NVC ships your package they will send you an email regarding that or email to your fiance. After that it takes like 2 or 3 weeks for the Ameican embassy to send you a Welcome or an Invitation Letter. Usually they will send that to your fiance. After that you can pay and schedule for the interview.  Thanks again! Good luck to you as well. :)

Hey Kaan,

If NVC just recieved your case from USCIS and you just got YRV number in Aug 23 it might take approximetly 2 or 2.5 months from that day unitl you reacive from NVC regarding your case being sending to Armenia.  You can always write them via inqury section and see if they have any updates about your case. That attached letter from NVC will be like this

"Dear Jane Doe,
The National Visa Center (NVC) received your fiancé (e)’s/spouse’s approved I-129F petition from U.S.
Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). NVC will now forward the petition to the U.S. Embassy
or Consulate in Yerevan, Armenia. Please note that the transfer process can take several weeks. The U.S.
Embassy or Consulate will contact your fiancé (e)/spouse when they are ready to process his or her
petition."

Hop this Helps!

Thank you and for sure will let know about my case when she gets the visa! Good luck!!! :)))))

Thank you very much for the info. Hopefully I’ll get the NVC letter sooner. They have received our case on August 2nd or 3rd I think. So it has been a month already. Getting closer and closer 🤩
