Hey can you give some info about the car import experience please? I've gotten my letter from the manufacturer which says it meets all standards except standards 101 and 108 which seems acceptable based on the the options on the HS-7 Declaration form. Was yours similar? Also did you pay a fee/import tax?

I kind of lucked out. The person who usually does car imports was not in office so someone was filling in and doing it for the first time.

 

I did not even pay an import tax but filled out all the forms and was on my way.
