I-130 filling mistake - selected both option visa processing out side of USA & adjustment of status inside USA

Hi,

finally after 3 years of wait time my I-130 approved, but unfortunately i made a mistake. under the section of other information where you choose either adjustment of status or processing visa out side of USA US embassy i filled out both options and now USCIS retained my application and advised me to file form I-824. any suggestion please to avoid wait time and filling fee.

I-824 is the only solution that I see.

I-824 will take about a year, so it will take almost two more years to complete spousal visa process, assuming that there are no other issues with your case.  There is no way to avoid the wait time and filing fee.
