This is kind of off-topic but when folks say they get text updates, is the USCIS sending it according to this information from I-751? Or is there somewhere like my.uscis.gov that people have to link up your NOA receipt number to your phone number?

No. It’s from the form G-1145, that you place on top of your application pack.

Thank you. Totally wans't aware of this as the I-751 guide on visajourney nor the USCIS I-751 instruction mentioned this. I'm beginning to wonder what else I'm missing as far as the forms are concerned. As far as the forms, are the I-751 and G-1145 are the only forms we need?

We are little more than month away from that start of 3-month window and trying to get stuff ready.

If you’re paying with credit card, than you’ll have to send the form G-1450. If not, you’ll send the form G-1145 to receive the text messages and the I-751.

@Danmuji I am a credit card enthusiast, but in this case (USCIS fees) I highly recommend paying with a personal check. If you search the forum, you'll find instances when banks block the charge by USCIS as fradulent (not a joke!). In this case the packet is rejectes and returned. It's much safer to have enough money in account and pay with check.

You need to submit I-751 form + G-1145 form and all the evidence of bonafide marriage.
